Research Areas:Clinical pharmacy, Immunology, Cardiology, Stem cell translational research
Lab Focus:My research aimed to investigate the influences of metaflammation on immunomodulatory capability of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and to develop strategy for restoring the dysfunction of MSCs in the obese state. My skills were used to explore the effects of fatty acids on the differentiation ability and also immune regulatory activity of MSCs and to identify a new immunomodulatory mediator of MSCs induced by metaflammation-related signals.
Research Subjects:1. Effects of metaflammation on the lineage commitment and immunomodulatory properties of mesenchymal stem cells
2. Identification of biomarkers for early detection of cardiotoxicity induced by HER2-targeted therapy combined with anthracyclines using human pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes
3. Drug-related problems and the roles of clinical pharmacist in the multidisciplinary team intervention in heart failure, heart transplantation, and cardio-oncology
Teacher's Word:Clinical pharmacy scientist career is whatever you make of it, as long as you try.
Lab Requirements:Waste no second, and let every step we take be solid ones.
